1. Data we process
We may process account and contact details, booking data, preferences, salon information, technical data and communications. We collect no more data than needed for the relevant purpose.
2. Why we use data
For account management, discovery, bookings, confirmations, support, security, fraud prevention, platform improvement and marketing where you have opted in.
3. Sharing
We share data only when needed to provide the service, for example with the selected salon, payment and technical providers, or where required by law. Unclaimed salons do not receive personal customer data from interest actions.
4. Retention and security
We retain data for as long as needed for the purpose, legal obligations or disputes. We use access controls, tenant isolation and appropriate technical safeguards.
5. Your rights
You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or object to processing. You can withdraw marketing consent at any time. Contact info@bookmysalon.io.
6. Cookies and changes
We use necessary cookies and, where applicable, measurement or preference technologies according to your choices. We may update this notice and publish the new date above.
7. Private photos in your Beauty Passport
You can add before-and-after photos, a treatment date, a treatment name and notes to your own Beauty Passport. This information is linked to your customer account. It is not published on GlowFeed and salons or other customers cannot access it through the platform. Technical providers process it only to store, secure and operate this feature. We do not use these private photos for advertising or AI training. Photos are resized and converted to JPEG; embedded location and camera metadata are removed. Only upload photos you have permission to use and do not include medical records or sensitive information about others.
8. Managing your private photos
You can view, edit, export and delete your own Passport entries and photos. Deleting a photo immediately removes access through the app; the underlying file is removed by the cleanup service. Deleting your customer account also includes your private Passport data. Send questions or requests to info@bookmysalon.io.
